Claire Beland

Claire is the accounting and payroll specialist at FSM. She handles all of our internal Accounting, Payroll and Human Resource requirements.

She also provides expert accounting and payroll services to several of FSM’s small business clients. She enjoys the variety of working with different client entities, particularly the training aspect – those “lightbulb moments” when a client understands the “why” of maintaining accurate accounting records that provide the knowledge and confidence necessary to deal with the complexities of the tax process.

Claire graduated from Albion College in Michigan (BA Econ/French), and CU Boulder (MBA), and has worked as staff analyst for both the Federal Reserve Bank and Anderson Consulting in Denver. She has called Colorado home since 1984 and currently lives in Golden. Free time pursuits include mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and healthy cooking.
