Julia Blackford
Client Service Associate / Assembly Lead
Julia joined the FSM team in 2021 to work alongside, and eventually lead, our Assembly team, helping clients finalize and file their tax returns. She has now taken on further duties as a Client Service Associate, establishing and maintaining financial accounts. Before coming to FSM, Julia worked as a legislative aid in the House of Representatives. She moved to Denver in '95 where she lobbied for small business oil and gas owners at the State House for 13 years. She has consistently taken on leadership roles and volunteer opportunities all throughout her kids’ schooling. Julia loves to stay busy, take on new challenges, and try new things, all of which make her very excited about becoming a CSA.

About Julia
Families that play together, stay together. Julia and her husband are parents to two awesome kids and one spoiled dog. If you want to learn more about Russell, Julia's Golden Doodle and the office therapy pup, you'll have to check out his bio page.

When the kids are home visiting, they love to play golf, frisbee golf, and go to sporting events together. They are big into following the Denver Nuggets, the Big Ten Conference, and their kid's college teams. Their family also has a habit of turning their beach vacations into epic golf trips. Her favorite course she's played was Kapalua in Maui back in 2022.

Fun fact about Julia: When Julia lived in DC, she got an incredible opportunity to tour the West Wing at the White House and get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Supreme Court.
