Roy has been a practicing financial planner since 1994. He received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation from the College for Financial Planning in 1993, and has been an Investment Advisor Representative of Financial Security Management since 1996. Roy is also a tax preparer and is an Enrolled Agent* which allows him to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.​ In his work with clients, Roy strives to uphold the values that mean the most to him: competence, integrity, and understanding.​

About Roy
When it comes to his role as an advisor at FSM, Roy listens to each client’s individual financial needs, concerns, and investment goals. He then develops personalized plans, manages investment portfolios according to each client's strategy and develops tax-planning strategies designed to suit his client's unique needs and circumstances.
​Roy has called the Denver suburb of Highlands Ranch home since 1988. He and his wife Dale have been married since 1973. They have always shared their home with furry four-legged kids.

Roy is also very active in his church. His hobbies include Colorado Rockies baseball, physical fitness, and being a lifelong learner. He also enjoys hiking and biking in our beautiful Rocky Mountains.
