Doug joined FSM in September of 2008 as an Investment Advisor Representative and Tax Preparer. Doug has been working in the financial services industry since 1988. He and his wife, Anna, are both graduates of Colorado State University, where Doug earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Doug loves engaging with his clients and learning about their financial goals and unique situations so he can better understand how to serve each client intentionally.

About Doug
Doug is a fourth generation native of Colorado. Doug and his wife, Anna, have three kids: their oldest, Brandon, and the twins, Trevor and Alexa. Like Doug and Anna, both Brandon and Alexa also graduated from Colorado State University. Trevor graduated from Santa Clara University in California. Doug spends his free time and weekends visiting his family, specifically making special time to spend with their two grandsons. They all love cooking together and playing outside.

Doug got to check off a pretty cool Bucket List activity: In 2023, Doug and Anna adventured on a week-long river cruise in Europe. They visited Germany, Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands while cruising along the Rhine River. Their days involved wine tasting, counting fields of windmills, walking tours, and sightseeing. Their favorite day was the one where they saw 22 castles! Other 2023 adventures included a week in San Francisco/wine country/Armstrong Redwood Forest.

Win or Lose, Doug is a true Colorado sports fan. Doug enjoys following the big Colorado teams, including the Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche, Rockies, and CSU. He also loves both watching and playing golf!
