Sara joined the FSM team in 2013 as a Financial & Tax Advisor. She specializes in mutual fund analysis, studying detailed performance data over time. Her customized financial modeling tools help to aggregate and present that data in concise reports that speak directly to her clients’ financial goals. Sara continues to develop these tools to understand, unravel, and resolve complex financial situations.

About Sara
Sara’s progression path to financial advising includes 5 years working as a US Geological Survey scientist, 2 years teaching high school math and science, 3 years as an QA/QC specialist for engineering/manufacturing firms, and becoming a mother to a competitive hockey player. Her son also plays the flute in his middle school jazz band (her husband’s musical influence). Sara is an avid reader of action-packed historical fiction, she enjoys road trips w/ family and friends, indoor vermiculture, and she is an incurable news junkie.

Did you know: After graduation from CU Boulder, she spent a month riding her bike through the Swiss Alps with nothing but her tent packed in a bike trailer named Bob.
